Les Sources De La Vitamine D
Les Sources De La Vitamine D
Controversial by modern standards, Seville's bullfighting culture is as much a part of its heritage as tapas and flamenco. Wherever your sensibilities lay, at over 130 years old, the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza is the oldest and most beautiful bullring in the world. Pristinely white with a bright yellow trim on its archways and openings, the country's most prestigious bullfights are held here between April and late September. Visitors can partake in a brief guided tour that includes the pit of the bullring and a museum dedicated to its history. Admission is free on Mondays between 5 p.m and 7 p.m.
